2019 has been a truly whirlwind year for James Hutton Limited.

Dr Dorota Jarret appointed chair of the ISHS Rubus and Ribes group

James Hutton Limited is delighted to share the news that Ribes breeder, Dr Dorota Jarret, has been appointed chair of the International Society for Horticultural Science’s (ISHS), Rubus and Ribes Species and Management working group, a position Dr Jarret is, “privileged and honoured,” to accept. Dr Jarret is the first female to chair the Rubus and Ribes working group and also the youngest to take up the position.  

Gathering the Troops for British Potato 2019

The James Hutton Limited team looks forward to meeting with our potato industry customers and project collaborators at BP2019 in Harrogate next week. A BASIS point will be available on our stand and we’ll be talking a lot about our Molecular Diagnostic capabilities and services.
