Vacancy - Analytical Chemist

The role will involve providing support to analytical chemists by receiving and preparing samples and analyses using a variety of automated and manual techniques. 

The successful candidate should have a degree (BSc) in chemistry or a closely related subject or several years’ experience of organic analysis. They must have knowledge of GC-MS and GC-FID and ideally have a good understanding of other automated techniques such as HPLC and LC-MS.  They must have experience of working in a laboratory with good knowledge of health and safety, quality management systems such as ISO17025 and be fully computer literate with software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.  The role may involve some travel therefore, a driving license is desirable but not essential.

Training will be provided where required. This post will be based in Aberdeen but may on occasion involve travelling to our Dundee site.
